A 29-page site for a County Durham heating firm.
Connected Gas & Heating have been fitting and fixing boilers since 1999. We rebuilt their website from scratch so every service and every town they cover has its own page.
The brief.
A family-run firm with over 3,000 customers and a 10/10 Checkatrade score deserved a site that showed it. The job was a complete rebuild on WordPress, written and structured so the business shows up when someone nearby searches for a boiler repair or a new boiler.
New boiler installs were the priority, so the site had to bring in that kind of enquiry and make it easy to ask for a fixed price.
How we built it.
Planned the pages around real searches
Ten service pages, from boiler installs to landlord gas safety certificates. Then separate town pages for repairs and for new boilers, covering Sunderland, Hartlepool, Durham, Newcastle and more.
Wrote it to sound like them
Their own vans and their own job photos, not stock images. Gas Safe number, fixed prices and service plan costs are stated plainly so nobody has to ring up just to find out.
Got the details right
ATAG warranties run 12 years as standard and up to 18 with an extension, so that is exactly what every page says. Small details like that matter when a customer is spending thousands.
Launched and kept going
The site went live in September 2026 with the domain switched over on a call with the owner. An LPG boiler page followed as page 29, and new town pages are added every month.
