Our work / MPS Electrical Contractors
A fresh 10-page site for a Leeds electrician.
MPS Electrical Contractors have worked across Leeds since 1996. We rebuilt electrician-leeds.com from a blank WordPress install, with a page for each main service and each area they wanted to rank in.
The brief.
MPS run a main company site plus a group of smaller sites, each aimed at one type of search. This one has a simple job: be the best answer for someone typing "electrician Leeds" into Google.
The old site was hard to get into and harder to update, so we started again rather than patch it.
How we built it.
One page per service
House rewires, fuse box replacement, EICR and testing, emergency call outs and EV chargers each get their own page with their own copy.
Area pages for the suburbs
Headingley, Horsforth, Morley and Wetherby each have a local page, with the rest of the city listed so customers can see they are covered.
Put the person front and centre
The owner has thirty years on the tools and an inspector's qualification. The site says so, because people hire the electrician, not the logo.
Unique copy, not a template
Google reads words, not layouts. Every site in the MPS group has its own angle and its own wording so none of them compete with each other.
What's on the site.
