Our work / Cost to Rewire a House

A rewiring guide that turns searches into quote requests.

People search "cost to rewire a house" long before they ring an electrician. We built an eight page guide for MPS Electrical that answers the question properly and points readers to a fixed quote.

The brief.

This is not a normal company site. It is a guide built around one question, owned by an electrician who does rewires every week. The aim is to be useful first and get the phone call second.

Most pages that rank for this search throw out a number that fits no real house. The client wanted the opposite: an honest explanation of what changes the price.

How we built it.

  1. Answered the question straight

The homepage explains why one online price tells you very little, then walks through the six things that move a rewire quote up or down.

  2. Built guides around the follow-up questions

Do I need a rewire? Full or partial? What actually happens during one? Each has its own page, plus a full FAQ page.

  3. Used real job photos

Every picture is from an actual MPS rewire: cable runs, back boxes, a finished consumer unit. It shows what the work involves better than any stock photo.

  4. Gave every page a next step

There is a page for home buyers, a local page for Leeds and Yorkshire, and a quote page. Wherever someone lands, the phone number is one tap away.
